Charges Policy

Introduction:

Subscription journals keep costs down by charging a subscription to access the information. Because Open Access information is freely available and accessible, the costs are covered by the publication policy. Journals rely on a variety of sources of revenue to cover their publishing costs (which include editorial costs, any costs associated with administering the peer review system, promotion of the contents, circulation, and indexing, among other things), including institutional subsidies and subscriptions. Although a small number of open access journals do not charge article processing fees, the majority, a sizable and growing number, do. They are the most prevalent source of funding for open access publications that have been professionally published.

  • Publication Fees: ARSS charges Rs. 40000.00 as publication fees. The revenue is used to cover the maintenance expenses of the journal.
