- Manuscript Preparation and Submission
Authors interested in submitting their original manuscripts to ARSS must prepare a well-formatted, double-spaced document. Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) and must include a 250-word abstract. The ideal manuscript length is between 5,000 and 8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
- Title Page: Prepare a separate title page that includes the following:
- The name(s) of the author(s)
- The affiliation(s) of the author(s), including institution, department, city, and country
- The official email address of the corresponding author
- The 16-digit ORCID of the author(s) if available
- Anonymous Manuscript File: Ensure that the manuscript file is anonymized to maintain transparency in the double-blind review process.
All manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission system.
- Manuscript Formatting
- Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English.
- Font: Use a standard font such as Times New Roman, 12 pt.
- Spacing: Double-space the entire manuscript.
- Headings: Use appropriate headings and subheadings to organize the content.
- Tables and Figures: Insert tables and figures within the text at appropriate points and ensure each is labeled and captioned clearly.
- References Style
The ARSS follows the APA 7th edition style for citations in both the main text and the reference list. Authors are encouraged to use referencing software like Zotero or Mendeley for accurate citation formatting.
- Author’s Contribution Statement
On the title page, declare the role of each contributing author. This should include significant contributions in areas such as conceptualization, data collection, methodology, and literature review.
- Ethical Considerations
- Originality: Submissions must be original and not under consideration by any other journal.
- Plagiarism: All manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism. Manuscripts found to have plagiarized content will be rejected.
- Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
- Research Ethics: Follow ethical guidelines for research involving human subjects, including obtaining informed consent and ensuring confidentiality.
- Peer Review Process
- Double-Blind Review: ARSS uses a double-blind peer review process.
- Review Timeline: Initial feedback will be provided within 8-12 weeks of submission.
- Revisions: Authors will be given a specified timeframe to resubmit revised manuscripts if revisions are required.
- Post-Acceptance
- Proofreading: Authors are responsible for proofreading the final version of their manuscript before publication.
- Publication Fees: ARSS charges Rs. 40000.00 as publication fees. The revenue is used to cover the maintenance expenses of the journal.
- Open Access: All articles published in ARSS are open access and freely available to the public.
- Submission Preparation Checklist
Ensure your submission meets the following requirements:
- The submission adheres to the Author Guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published nor is it under consideration by another journal.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures are properly numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets, and other supplementary materials included in the submission.
