Exploring Students’ Perceptions Regarding Transport Facility: A Case Study of University of Loralai

The present study sought to explore the perceptions of female students regarding the transportation facilities provided by the University of Loralai. To explore the perception of male students regarding the facility of transport provided by the University of Loralai. All the students studying in the Department of Education at the University of Loralai constituted the population of the study. The total number of students was 242. A sample of the study was selected through a random sampling technique. Out of the total population, 40 students were randomly selected as a sample for the study. A closed-ended questionnaire was developed with the help of a supervisor based on a Likert scale containing 16 items. The collected data were analyzed by percentage. Most of the participants agreed that the University of Loralai provided door-to-door transport to female students. Most of the participants agreed that the University of Loralai provided transport facilities to the male student. Most of the participants agreed that the quality of the transport facility is very good. Less than half of the participants agreed that transport facilities help students’ punctuality. The least number of participants agreed that transport facilities cost such a large amount per month, and half of the participants agreed that the attitude of the transport in-charge is good. More than half of the participants agreed that the attitude of the transport in-charge is positive. Less than half of the students agreed that the route of buses is safe and secure.
